Silicon Valley event will be a tremendous success and will be very
well received by the hundreds of Cadence customers we expect to

Each day of the conference will feature six parallel tracks of
technical presentations and discussions that address the broad range
of design challenges and issues facing today's engineers. Other events
scheduled during the three-day conference include a "Cadence

and design flows; a "Meet the Technologists" event, at which the
company's developers and senior technologists will be available to
interact with customers; an industry-wide "Designer Expo," bringing to
one place 48 companies that team with Cadence to address the
electronics design chain; and multiple technical product and
methodology tutorials.
Cadence President and CEO Mike Fister will address attendees at
the opening of the conference. Fister and other top executives also
will hold a news conference Sept. 12.
"Our goal with the Cadence Designer Network and CDNLive! is to
create a customer-driven user community and annual conferences that
deliver great value to the myriad of designers who depend on our
technology to do their jobs," said Ajay Malhotra, senior vice
president of Marketing. "This conference will provide a forum for our
customers to share their thoughts and ideas with each other and with
Cadence technologists, to the benefit of everyone."
